Dr. Evans office is pleased to offer a wide range of optometric services, eye care products including eyeglasses, specialty eyewear, frames, and contact lenses. Our staff is happy to help however we can.

K. Dean Evans Jr., O.D.

Dr. Evans was born and raised in northwest Oklahoma and attended Oklahoma State University before being accepted to Northeastern State University College of Optometry. Upon graduating from NSUCO in 1988, he completed both OK and TX boards and currently holds licenses in both states.

In September 1994 Dr. Evans purchased the 33 year old practice in Chandler of Dr. Harry Wiese. Dr. Evans continued in the same location on Manvel Avenue until 2004 when he built and moved to his current location on North Highway 18. The practice has moved forward with technology in equipment and services as well as experienced growth in their patient base, products offered, and their skillful, caring staff.

Dr. Evans and his wife, Cindra have four children and is a member of the First Baptist Church where he teaches Sunday School and works with the youth. He has also enjoyed being on medical mission teams in South America treating and fitting glasses to the indigenous people. Dr. Evans is a member and past president of the Chandler Chamber of Commerce and the Chandler Lions Club and is active in the Oklahoma Optometric Association. He also currently serves on the school board of the Gordon Cooper Technology Center in Shawnee, OK.

Amber has been on staff with Dr. Evans since 2010! She is our Lab Manager and works hard taking care of all our patient’s frame and lens needs. When not at work, she enjoy’s spending time with her husband, Jared and cheering on her children at their sporting events. Amber also loves to explore new places for family vacations and work on projects around the house.

Alli joined our staff in 2017.  She is recently married and lives in the Davenport area.  In her spare time Alli coaches the high school cheerleading squad and enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and friends.

Camilla joined our staff in the beginning of 2018.  She is a long-time Chandler resident and has been married to Todd for 34 years.  In her free time, Camilla loves to sing and spend time with her four daughters and their families, specifically her 2 grandsons and 2 granddaughters!

Teressa is the newest member of our team.  She joins us from the banking industry and is a long-time Carney resident.  Married to her sweetheart for 39 years, Teressa and Phillip have 2 daughters and 5 awesome grandkids.  They are the benevolence ministers at the Carney First Assembly of God Church in Carney and love serving there.  Teressa also enjoys painting, stained glass, and gardening.

Cindra moved to Chandler with her husband, Dr. Evans in 1994.  Initially working in public accounting, Cindra stayed home with her children while they were young but has always been a part of the practice with her husband.  From administrative and bookkeeping responsibilities, patient care and insurance filing to cleaning, gardening and filling in where necessary.  “I love to go to work everyday and be able to meet the needs of our staff and our patients.”  While not at work, Cindra enjoys serving at her church, at the school, running with her dog and hanging out with her family.
